- Epsom salts  - 2 oz.
- water  - 1 1/2 tsp.
- essential oils - 1 tsp.
- coconut oil - 1 1/4 tsp.
- food colorant - 1-2 drops

Materials and equipment to use:

- mixing bowl - medium sized
- little bowls or glass containers
- molds
- parchment paper

Step 1. Combine and mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.

Step 2. In a separate bowl or glass, combine and stir all the wet ingredients including food coloring.

Step 3. Slowly add the mixture of wet ingredients to the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix them. Do this slowly so as to not produce bubbles.

Step 4. After mixing all the ingredients, form them with your molds.

Step 5. Remove the bath bombs from your mold and dry them on a parchment paper overnight.

Step 6. After the bombs have dried, you can store them in one container or wrap each of them in plastic or craft paper.

Exactly What Is It That Causes Bath Bombs To Crumble?

Sometimes, you might wonder why do bath bombs crumble? If your bath bombs aren't formed tightly when they are molded, they will begin to crack or to crumble. If that happens, your mixture is most likely too dry. Try adding more oil or water to moisten it and then let them sit again to dry.

Remember to slowly add a little amount of liquid to it. If you add too much water, they will become too soft and pasty, which is not the desired texture for your bath bomb. The most crucial part of making your own bath bomb is attaining the right texture, so be sure to not add too much moisture to them.

Start making your own bath bombs at home and enjoy a fun and relaxing bath every day.
